Several days ago, a bay area man’s Instagram post about their spouse’s “curvy human anatomy” went viral for just what numerous saw as being a human body good message, but now many are not too sure his post had been because empowering as many think.

Activist and author Robbie Tripp had written a long instagram caption on an image of himself along with his spouse Sarah Tripp cuddled through to the coastline. All of his friends and the “basic bros” who would not find her and other women of her size attractive in the post, Robbie praises Sarah’s “curvy” body and laments.

As a teen, I was usually teased by my buddies for my attraction to girls regarding the thicker part, people have been smaller and curvier, girls that the common (basic) bro might relate to as “chubby” as well as “fat.” Then, on issues such as feminism and how the media marginalizes women by portraying a very narrow and very specific standard of beauty (thin, tall, lean) I realized how many men have bought into that lie as I became a man and started to educate myself.
